HI everyone!
First, thank you ALL for volunteering your time and talents to participate in this year's Iowa Arts
Festival Global Village. I wanted to provide you with some information that I hope you find helpful.
A. Saturday, June 6 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
B. Please have your booth set up by 9:30 a.m.!
C. For those of you who are working a booth, we will have it set up for you when you arrive.
D. All booths will be on the Ped Mall on Dubuque Street between the Sheraton and Washington St.
E. We will provide two tables and 3-4 chairs for each booth.
F. Each booth will also have a general supply box which will include:
Paper Towels
Wet wipes
Masking tape
Tacky glue
Elmers
Markers
Adult scissors
3 pairs of kids scissors
single hole punch '
Crayons
Pens
Scratch pad
Ink pad (we'll also provide you a stamp to use with it for the passports)
We will also provide you with a quantity of passports and (hopefully) some plastic bags for the kids to
put stuff in as they make crafts. FYI -- The passports are strictly for fun. We usually have people ask if
they get a prize for having stamps from all the booths, but they don't.
There will be entertainment throughout the day on the family stage in the Black Hawk Mini Park by
Washington Street. There will be entertainment as well at the Weatherdance Fountain Stage by the
Sheraton.
