Harvat Hall, 410 E. The City of Iowa City, Iowa is the local agency which, if such Plan is approved, shall undertake the urban renewal activities described in such Plan. The meeting will be held at Emma Harvat Hall, 410 East Washington Street at 7:00 p.m. The Fair Housing Choice Study is part of the City's efforts to affirmatively further fair housing and will inform its planning, policies, and actions. The Study analyzes and identifies impediments to fair housing choice and recommends appropriate actions to overcome the effects of identified impediments. As a recipient of federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnership Program (HOME) funds, the City will act on those recommendations and maintain records of its analysis and actions. CDBG and HOME funds are used for housing, jobs and services for low- and moderate -income persons, though the City's fair housing obligations extend to all housing and housing -related activities in the City.
