HomeMy WebLinkAboutCAC Brochure 2023 - JCPHWhat is the Affordable
Care Act?
The ACA helps people without
health insurance find lower cost
ways to get health coverage but it
can be a difficult and confusing
process.
Stop worrying ...
we are here to help!
Johnson County Public Health offers
CAC (Certified Application
Counselor) services to our
community.
In the spring of 2023 people who
have been on Medicaid have to
renew their eligibility. Some people
may loose coverage but will be
able to apply for a Marketplace
plan because they will be in a
Special Enrollment Period. Don't
wait because this period lasts for
only 60 days.
If you need help to do this please
contact our CAC or one of the
insurance agents listed here.
