1. Clarification of Agenda Items
City Attorney Goers noted item 9.g — Hawkeye Smoke and Liquor Tobacco Civil Penalty, and stated
the City Attorney's Office received the waiver of right to hearing and payment, therefore the revised
resolution had been distributed in the 8/1 Supplemental meeting packet.
2. Information Packet Discussion [July 13, July 19, July 271

1. (IP2 — Memo from City Clerk: Listening Post Update) Councilor Bergus suggested holding
a listening post at the Diversity Market on Saturday, August 19 with the planned Fare
Free Iowa City tabling. Councilor Bergus volunteered and will be joined by Councilor
Dunn (if interested and available) or Councilor Harmsen.
Action: The Listening Post memo will be included in a future IP so that Council can
schedule a fall/winter session.
