Teague: Oh,I see the IP too- Bergus: Yeah.I just had a suggestion or a thought.Um,I know that there'll be at least one councilor tabling on August 19th at the Diversity Market for transit. And did we want to maybe try and combine that with the listening post that afternoon?I'll be there anyway. I'm happy to do it. Teague: Yeah. I think it's great. Bergus:Not to get us out of other ones. That was just a suggestion to try and keep it-keep it moving. Alter:Rolling? Teauge: I think it's great. Bergus: Do we know who? Teague: So it would be Councilor Bergus would be the one and we need a second person. Alter:My daughter is gonna be there vending, so I can do it. Berugs: Okay. Teague: And I don't know-I mean,I know that we did one earlier this year,so I don't know if anyone else is up for doing one. This represents only a reasonably accurate transcription of the Iowa City City Council work session of August 1, 2023. Page 2 Alter: That's true. Harmsen:I love doing them, but I uh,just did the one in February,so I don't want to take up spots from other people, but if it's not being fought over,I'd do another one. Teague: Yeah. Harmsen: That makes sense. Teague: Yes. So what we'll do is,um,well,Councilor Dunn isn't here, so maybe check in with him. Alter: Yeah, that's fine, like I said. Teague: And then-and then if- if he's not wanting to do it then you can do it. Alter: And-and for what it's worth,I did mine after Councilor Harmsen. So in terms of that,I will check in with Councilor Dunn. Teague: Okay. Alter:Because he hasn't had an opportunity yet. Teague: All right. Any other item from July 19th? Bergus: Did other people want to sign up for other ones for the rest of the year? Teague: Yeah. So I guess the-the thing that is untold is if Andrew is gonna do the next one. Bergus: Sure. Teague: Why don't we-we'll come back to them and put it in a future IP. So all right,we're onto July 27th information packet. 3.
