1. Clarification of Agenda Items

2. Information Packet Discussion [November 9, November 161
➢ November 9
1. (IP2 — Memo from Climate Action Coordinator: Energy Efficiency in Residential
Construction Grant) City Manager Fruin noted the memo and thanked staff for all -their
hard work.
➢ November 16
1. (IP7 — Board of Adjustment: November 8) Mayor Pro Tem Alter pointed out the
acquisition of property by 4C's on B Street for a childcare center.
2. (IP4 — Memo from Deputy City Manager: 2024 Legislative Priorities Development)
Councilor Harmsen noted the memo. Individual Council members expressed their views.
City Manager Fruin provided additional information.
3. (IP1 — Council Tentative Meeting Schedule) Mayor Teague pointed out the December
meeting schedule with only one meeting and Councilor Bergus noted the many meetings
in January.
3. University of Iowa Student Government (USG) Updates.
Matthew Monsivais, USG Alternate Liaison, presented updates.
4. Council updates on assigned boards, commissions, and committees
Council members reported on various assigned boards, commissions, and committees.
