Report for 2023 available May 1
The annual drinking water Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) provides information about the
regulatory compliance of the City’s drinking water and resources to better understand health risks.
The CCR is required by State and Federal law. The 2023 edition of the CCR will be available at
icgov.org/water beginning May 1, 2024. To request a printed copy, call 319-356-5160.
The City’s Lead Reduction Program is up-and-running! The program has three components: banning
the repair of broken lead pipes, promoting service line insurance from Service Line Warranties of
America (SLWA), and a cost-share. Residents will receive a total of six mailings in 2024 from SLWA
regarding service line insurance. The mailings will use the City logo. There is no obligation to apply.
The intent of the Lead Reduction Program is to educate residents about the risks of lead and the
financial liabilities associated with service lines, and to provide resources.
