We are writing to support the letter written to you by our neighbors
across the creek on L1ttl. Creek Lane and also to express scene
concerns of our own.
Our main concern Is the extreme change In terrain to the rear of
our lawns which was created by the excavation and grading frOCll your
project (our lawn extends across the creek to Join the Hejle
property). The height of the clHf Is exacerbated by the height
of the .Ight-pl.xu which have been built and which art und.r
construction. You have Indicated you phn six or .Ight of these
elght.plms. It Is our hope that you will reconsider and build
a lower type of building as you continue t~ard the north.
We and our neighbors were delighted when we heard you were to
develop this property and understood that zero-lot lln. hcenes would
be built adjacent to our property with condominiums planned for the
arel nearer Highway I. You un Imagine our disappOintment since
we nOlI, In effect, have a mountain of condominiums looking down on
us.
You can understand our neighbors' concerns regarding rainwater
runoff and the possibility of mud slides onto their hwns. You have
Indicated you rhn to terrace this cliff, but we all have visions
of another 'Cl ff Apartments' situation. With the spring rains In
the not too distant future, It Is almost a certainty that mud wl11
WISh onto our properties. Even with terracing, we will be the
recipIents of the runoff. '
We are grateful to you for stopping the remove I of vegetation to
the rear of our propertlu. However, If IS much IS six Inches of
soil washes onto this area, this vegetation will be kl11ed since
the roots will be smothered by the depth of the added 5011.
We will be grateful for any consideration you wl11 give us.
