Bbete~, the Domestic Violence Intervention Program will host its
major fund. raising event, the Seventh Annual Fine Art and Fun
Auction, to be held March 6, 1994, at 1 p.m. at the Iowa
Memorial Union, and
Bberea9', this event will showcase the work of over 80 Iowa artists and
artisans, including many from Iowa City who have contrihuted
their works 100% to benefit the Domestic Violence Intervention
Program, and
.ere~, the pre.auction exhihit at M.C. Ginsberg Jewelers will be I
featured on March 4 from 5.7 p.m. on "0pening Night: A Gallery I

Whereas, the Grant Wood Area ChaRter has made and continues to make
significant progress in AIDS education, Rroviding youth and adults
with important information about this distlase, and
Whereas, the Grant Wood Area Chapter enhances the qualifY. of life hy
providing eastern Iowans with a medical loan closet, relay service
I:or the hearing impaired, and layette program for low-income
mothers, and
Whereas, the Grant Wood Area Chapter depends u:eon financial
contributions and volunteers to accomplish its humanitarian
