'QWllbmll~, the Boy Scout Troop 218 of Iowa City has accomplished what , few Scout units can match, and that is being active for fifty years" , and .berell~, this tenure is a tri1ute to the volunteer leaders and the support of parents of the scouts, and Dbmll~, thousands of youths have benefitted horn the Scout programs offered by Troop 218 during these fifty years, and 'Iltberell~, Scouting I?rograms and activities contri1ute immensely to the development of youth into responsible adults in our society, and 'Iltberells, we want to pay tri1ute to the leaders, past and present, of Troop 218 who have given so much of themselves to plan programs and activities which influence youths at a very important time in their lives, ~OW, tbmfon, I, Susan M.
