a.Consider formulating recommendations to the City of Coralville
concerning a county subdivision.

The preliminary plat of Valley View Knoll of River Heights, second
addition in Johnson County, is located within the extraterritorial

jurisdictionof Coralville but is within the area of annexation
established in the agreement with the City of Coralville. Thusly; '
in compliance with paragraph 6,' page 2, of said agreement, the plat
has been submitted to the City of Iotiva City for our report on
Iowa City's findings and recommendations'to the City of Coralville.

this'itern the plat is being referred to the City Council for consid-
eration:at this time

Comment: The Planning and Zoning Commission, at a regular meeting held on
'February 3 1977,'recorrtnended by a 5-0 vote 'approval lof the subject
subdivision located between', Sycamore Street and the east end of Tracy
lane and that the following', variances be granted:
(1) that a,variance ;be granted in Section 9.50.5A.2.b.4 to permit the
outer edge, of paving within theturnaroundto be 12.5 feet from the
circumference'of the right-of-way,
(2)'that avariance`be granted in Section 9.50.5A.2.b.3 to reduce the

Comment: This proposed parking prohibition would facilitate the movement of buses.
Bus routes were recently changed to Summit and Court Street due to the
