NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ORBINANGE-AMENDING -1-h I -l' 1 ALU ,
ORDINANCE N77-2868 (CHAPTER-8-10--MUNIGhPAL-CODE-) �L 11-40
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be
held by the City Council of Iowa City, Iowa, at }�OPlRCO!'l�H,
7:30 P.M. on the 7th day of February, 1978, in the
Council Chambers in the Civic Center, Iowa City,
Iowa. At which hearing the Council will consider
arguments for and against the proposed adoption of
an amendment modifying certain requirements of
Chapter 8.10 of the Code of Ordinances of Iowa City,
Iowa, (Ordinance No. 77-2868) relating to modifi-
cations to the six-month construction limitations
established by Ordinance N77-2868. The proposed
amendment would limit construction to: L) -the-
erection-and-expansi-on-of-single family-dwollings;
2--the-comersilstrof-singYe-fami-ly-dwel'l-in'gs to" orc�ir,p�CE
dup-lexes.;-3.)-the -repair •and -remodel i ng, *but -not
expans-ion;-of'existing structures';-so-long"as the

file for public examination in the Office of the
City Clerk, Civic Center, Iowa City, Iowa. This
notice is given pursuant to Section 414 of the Code
of Iowa, 1977.
