NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PLANS
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT
AND ESTIMATED COST FOR
BRIDGE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
IN THE CITY OF IOWA CITY, IOWA
TO ALL TAXPAYERS OF THE CITY OF IOWA CITY, IOWA, AND
TO OTHER PERSONS INTERESTED:
Public notice is hereby given that the City Council
of the City of Iowa City, Iowa, will conduct a public
hearing on plans, specifications, form of contract
and estimated cost for the construction of the Bridge
Improvement Program in said City at 7:30 o'clock P.M.
on the 4th day of April, 1978, said meeting to be
held in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center in
said City.
Said plans, specifications, form of contract and
estimated cost are now on file in the office of the
City Clerk in the Civic Center in Iowa City, Iowa,
and may be inspected by any person interested.
Any persons interested may appear at said meeting of
the City Council for the purpose of making objections
to said plans, specifications, contract or the cost
of making said improvements.
This notice is given by order of the City Council of
the City of Iowa City, Iowa.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given_that_a public hearing will 7 5
be held on Tuesday, (April 28) 1978 at 7;30.p.m._in -
the Council Chambers, Civic Center, 410 E. Washing-
ton St., Iona City, Iowa. Paragraph 403A.28 State
Code of Iowa requires this Public Hearing prior to
undertaking this low-cost housing project. The Iowa
City Housing Authority proposes to construct and
operate 48 dwelling units pursuant to the United
States Housing Act of 1937 as amended.
This Act authorizes the U.S. Dept. of Housing 6
Urban Development (HUD) to provide financial and
technical assistance to public housing agencies for
the development and operation of low-iname housing.
HUD has published a Notification of Housing Assistance
Availability for the State of Iowa. The Iowa City
Housing Authority has requested an allocation of
forty-eight (48) dwelling units designed for occupancy
by low -int families. These units will be dispersed
throughout the City and will range in size from 2-4
bedroom units. The structures will be row type
buildings.
Funds for development, construction, and operation
j can be provided by HUD. Eligible family occupants
will pay 258 of family income for rent. For additional
