Comment: The Planning and Zoning Commission, at a regular j meeting held on April 20, 1978, recommended by a six, to zero vote approval of'a preliminary and final Planned Area De- velopment Plan and subdivision plat of Hickory Corner to develop four lots at the above address for single family dwell- ings. Contingent upon this recommendation was that the legal papers be reviewed by the legal staff, that the sideyardfor one of the dwellings be adjusted, and that signatures to the legal papers be provided. This recommendation is consistent with'a staff recommendation presented in a Staff Report dated April 20, 1978, which is attached to this agenda. The pur- pose of this Plan is to allow flexibility in the provisions j of the Zoning Ordinance by placing single family dwellings on smaller lots and maintain the integrity of the setback of dwellings along Rochester Avenue. CONSIDER RESOLUTION AMENDING THE POLICIES OF THE PARKS AND RECREA- TION DEPARTMENT TO REQUIRE A $1.00 PER HOUR CHARGE FOR RESERVATIONS ON LIGHTED TENNIS COURTS. Comment: This resolutionamends the Parks and Recreation Department Policies to provide for a $1.00 charge per hour per court for reservations in lighted tennis courts. No fee would be charged for a lighted court if no reservation is made and a court is available. Comment: The purpose of the additional one-half hour is to get additional use of lighted sports facilities in the 2 parks - the 6 tennis courts at City Park, and 4 ball diamonds and the 6 tennis courts at Mercer Park. Comment: This, project provides for four ventilation fans in the roof and a heater unit to allow ventilation of the bus barn and eliminate a build-up of diesel fumes.
