CONSIDER A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE JOHNSON COUNTY AUDITOR TO
PLACE A PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE CITY'S
HOME RULE CHARTER TO CREATE A PERMANENT
POLICE CITIZEN REVIEW BOARD BEFORE THE
QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF IOWA CITY,
IOWA AT THE NEXT REGULAR CITY ELECTION ON
NOVEMBER 6, 2007.

included within?

No, if you look at the, it's the text of the proposed amendment as
set forth completely and it includes

I would like to put on the record how pleased I am with the rulings
and all the work of our Attorney's office and how well they
presented all of this to the Supreme Court.

And I'm just very pleased that the Supreme Court gave us
summary judgment on the items so that we knew. ..

it was important for ah you know a decision to be made so that we
know the extent of the issues and so that we can have closure to
this case. All right.
O'Donnell:
I think it is more important that, in my opinion, the right decision
was made.

Well, it's nice when that works out but...
