Comment:
During the recruitment process in the fall of 1978 to fill two

Planner/Program Analyst I positions, it appeared that the salary
under the current pay' plan for the Analyst I positions may have

been lower than the general market value based on several ap-
plicants' responses to the starting salary which could have
been offered.The Department of Planning and Program Develop-
ment requested a salary survey.
Based on a salary survey, the Department of Human Relations is
recommending that the Planner/Program Analyst T positions be
rec assjifled from Range 11 to Range 12 of the pay plan.
