PROCLAMATION
a
WHEREAS, the civic bodies and service organizations of our
community and the departments of the local government
recognize the great service rendered to this community
by the Iowa City Jaycees, and
WHEREAS, the United States Jaycees and its affiliated state and
local organizations have set aside the week of January
21 - 27, 1979, to observe the founding of the Jaycees.
To commemorate this founding, the Iowa City Jaycees have
recently selected outstanding young people in this com-
munity, namely the Outstanding Young Farmer, Educator,
Law Enforcement Person, and Religious Leader, and
WHEREAS, this organization of young men has contributed materially t
to the betterment of this community throughout the year,
