NOTICE OF PIELIC NENIING
Notice is hereby given that a Public hawing will
be held by the City Council of Iowa City, Iowa, at
7:30 p.m. an the 21st day of Parch, 1989, in the
Council Chahbers of the Civic Center, Iowa City,
Iowa, on the following items: 4 /
1. An ordinance to amad the River Corridor\
Overlay Zone to place the 30 -foot setback
requirement from the floodwdy encroachment line/ !�

An ordinance to rezone a 5.841 acre parcel
with of Maen View Drive and east of Mnon
Trek Boulevard from PCH -8 to RS -8.
Copies of the proposed ordinnes are on file for
public examination at the Office of the City Cleric,
Civic Center, Iowa City, Iowa. Persons wishing to
make their views known or to suggest changes for
City Council consideration before adoption of these
ordinances should appear at the hearing.

CITY, AN ADDITION TO IOWi CITY, IOWA.
TO W[M IT MAY OXEIN:
You are hereby notified that the City of Iowa
City, Iowa, for title correction purposes, hereby
proposes to convey by quitclaim deed to Robert L.
Woodburn and Mary Ann Woodburn that portion of said
vacated alley adjacent to said Lots 7 and 8 and the
south 10 feet of Lot 6, and described as follows:
Camiencirg at the Southeast core of Lot Eight
(8) in Block Forty-six (46), in East Ioa City,
Johnson Canty, Ias, according to the reonW
plat thereof, thence North 170 feet, thence
East 10 feet, thence South 170 feet, thence
West 10 feet to the place of beginning.
The City proposes to convey by quitclaim deed
portions of the vacated alley to certain abutting
property miners, for the sole purpose of clearing
title objections and consumatirg previous attempts
to convey this vacated alley.
You are further notified that a public hearing an
said matter will be held by the City Council of the
City of Iowa City, Iowa, at its regular meeting, to
be held at 7:30 P.M. on the 21st city of March, 1989,
in the City Council Chwbers in the Civic Center,
410 E. Washirgton Street, Ioa City, Ioa, at which
time and place all persons interested in said natter
will be given an opportunity to be heard.

ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 15 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF IOWA CITY,
IOWA.
The City Council of the City of Iowa
City, Iowa, will conduct a public hearing
on the proposed ordinance amending Chapter
15 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Iowa City, Iowa, (1) by repealing Section
15-66 thereof, and enacting in lieu thereof
a new Code section to be codified the same,
providing for the establishment of a
delinquency deposit for combined water
and/or sewer and/or solid waste collection
accounts. The public hearing will be held
at 410 E. Washington Street, Civic Center
Council Chambers, on March 21, 1989,
beginning at 7:30 p.m.
The proposed amendments to this
ordinance are available for inspection at
the offices of the City Clerk and the
Finance Director.

ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 33 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF IOWA CITY,
IOWA.
The City Council of the City of Iowa
City, Iowa, will conduct a public hearing
on the proposed ordinance amending Chapter
33 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Iowa City, Iowa, (1) by repealing Sections
33-48, 33-149, 33-163, 33-164, 33-165, and
33-169 thereof, and enacting in lieu
thereof new sections to be codified the
same, providing for (a) the establishment
of a delinquency deposit for combined water
and/or sewer and/or solid waste collection
accounts, (b) revisions in procedures for
the installation of primary and second
water meters, and (c) revisions to fees for
second water meters, for water use during
construction, and for direct water
purchase; and (2) by enacting two new
sections to be codified as Sections 33-156
and 33-167, providing for changes in the
procedures for removal of water meters, and
setting forth the fees and billing
procedure upon change in tenant account in
a separate Code Section; and (3) by
deleting subsections (d) and (e) from
Section 33-154 due to the inclusion of
those provisions in other sections. The
public hearing will be held at 410 E.
Washington Street, Civic Center Council
Chambers, on March 21, 1989, beginning at
7:30 p.m.
The proposed amendments to this
ordinance are available for inspection at
the offices of the City Clerk and the
Finance Director.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 32.1 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF IOWA CITY,
IOWA.
The City Council of the City of Iowa
City, Iowa, will conduct a public hearing
on the proposed ordinance amending Chapter
32.1, entitled "Taxation and Revenues" of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Iowa
City, Iowa, by amending Sections 32.1-55
and 32.1-73 therein to, respectively,
revise water service charges and fees,
increase fees for temporary water use
during construction, and establish a
delinquency deposit, combined, for city
water and/or sewer and/or solid waste
collection accounts. The public hearing
will be held at 410 E. Washington Street,
Civic Center Council Chambers, on March 21,
1989, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
The proposed amendments to this
ordinance are available for inspection at
the offices of the City Clerk and the
Finance Director.
