TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
You and each Of you are hereby noted that the City
Council of the City of Iowa City has heretofore adopted and
approved Resolution Na 89-237 declaring the City's
Intent to dispose of the following-described City property which
Includes portions of a vacated north-south alley between J
Street and the Iowa Interstate Railway, west of First Avenue:

NEIGHBORHOOD CENTERS OF JOHNSON COUNTY, IOWA, •-.
FOR THE LEASE OF CITY PROPERTY TO BE USED IN i --
CONJUNCTION WITH THE OPERATION OF A
NEIGHBORHOOD CENTER.
At Its regular meeting held on September 19, 1999, the City
.. Council of Iowa City passed and approved Resolution No. 89-
, 232 declaring its Intention to order Into a long-term lease
with Neighborhood Centers of Johnson County for the lease
of certain city property foruse as a' neighborhood' center.
Said proposed lease, which is now on file in the office of the i
City Clerk, would allow the Neighborhood Center to operate a
neighborhood Dame[ Iacillty. on City property. during the initial
°'' fifty-year term of the leaser The consideration for said lease is
>9 the continued operation of the center and the provision of a
variety of neighborhood center services to low Income persons
In Iowa City. during the term of the lease.
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held
