AN ORDINACE APEHDIN; THE ZONING ORDINANCE BY a*&-
ING THE USE REGULATIONS OF CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED
AT 410 IOWA AVENHE.
WiEREAS'the propertylocated at 410 Ima Avenue
is presently zoned P; and
WETEAS, the applicant is seeking to purchase the
property fran the State Historical Society of Iona
to establish a private use requiring the property to
be rezoned; and
WEREAS'the Crnprehensive Plan for the City of
IDACity shoos mixed lad uses in the area includ-
ing the site; and
WEWAS, Properties abutting the property at 410
Icwa Avenue are zoned CB -2; and

AN ORDIM4E YACATIM A PORTION OF 'RE NORTH -SOUTH
ALLEY RIV-OF-WAY LOCATED BETIM BEM STREET AND
RALSTON CREl7C, WEST OF GILBERf STFEET.
MEWAS, alleys have been platted in sane areas
of the City which are no longe- used; and
WIERFAS, the southerly portion of the north -
south alley in Outlot 4 of County Seat Addition,
between Berton, Dubuque and Gilbert Streets, and
Kirkwood Avenue is no longer needed for access to
abutting properties.
NOW, 1NT3ERFE, BE IT ORDAND BY TtE CITY COLN-
CIL OF IOWA CITY, IOWA:
SECTION I. That the right-of-way in Iowa City,
Iowa, neren-described by Attadnent A and incorpo-
rated by reference herein is vacated for alley
purposes subject to the provision of a utility
easement over the alley.

Chapter.
