TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: You are hereby notified that the City Council of the City of Iowa City, Iowa, has heretofore adopted and approved Resolution No. 85- 363 declaring the City's intent to dispose of its Utility Easement rights in the following -described property located in Iowa City, Johnson County, Iowa, to -wit: Commencing at the Northwest property corner of Lot 14, Oakes Meadow Addition to the City of Iowa City, Iowa, thence S 0 degrees, 00 minutes, 57 seconds East - 10 feet; thence South- easterly on the line to a point where it intersects with the east property line of said Lot 14; thence North 20 feet to the Northeast corner of Lot 14; thence South 89 degrees, 59 minutes, 03 second West 106.87 feet to the point of beginning. The City intends to dispose of said easement rights by conveying its interest in the same to the current owners of the property, Oakes Construction Company, Agnes A. Content and Charles F. Contant, husband and wife, and Cheryl Contant, in exchange for a new Utility Easement on said Lot 14. You are further notified that a public hearing on said matter will be held by the City Council of the City of Iowa City, Iowa, at its regular meeting to be held at 7:30 p.m. on the 14th day of January, 1986, in the City Council Chambers in the Civic Center, 410 East Washington Street, Iowa City, Iowa, at which time and place all persons interested in said matter will be given an opportunity to be heard. MARIAN KARR, CITY CLERK I �.......».,,,.............,.._ w . .......» .,..,....,..,w,w NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF INTENT TO DISPOSE OF EXCESS CITY PROPERTY TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: You and each of you are hereby notified that the City Council of the City of Iowa City, Iowa, has heretofore adopted and approved Resolution No. 85- 362 declaring the City's intento dispose the following -described excess City property: The entire right-of-way of Melrose Avenue from the east right-of-way line of Byington Road, said line being 1858.60 feet east of the northwest corner of the northeast quarter of Section 16, Township 19 North, Range 6 West, of the 5th Principal Meridian, thence easterly to the west right-of-way line of Riverside Drive, also known as Highway 6. The City intends to dispose of said vacated street right-of-way, by conveying the same to the University of Iowa in consideration of the University's agree- ments regarding storm drainage and maintenance of the retaining wall along Riverside Drive. You are further notified that a public hearing on said matter will held by the City Council of the City of Iowa City, Iowa, at its regular meeting to be held at 7:30 p.m. on the 14th day of January, 1986, in the City Council Chambers in the Civic Center, 410 E.
