ORDINANCE NO. 87-3344
AN ORDINANCE VACATING TIE NORTN-SOUTH ALLEY RIGHT-
OF-WAY LOCATED BETWEEN 64VENPORT AND BLOOMINGTON
STREETS, EAST OF RENO STFEET.
WAERFAS, alleys have been platted in sane areas
of the city which are no longer needed for public
access; and
WkEREAS, the north -south alley between Lots 1, 2,
3 and 4 of Irish's Extension to Wood's Addition, and
Lots 5 and 6 of Pleasant Place Addition; south of
Davenport Street, north of Bloomington Street and
east of Reno Street, provides access to only one
property and the aver of that property has
requested that the alley be vacated; and
WTERFAS, this alley no longer serves any public
purpose.
NOW, TFEREFORE, BE IT MINED BY TFE CITY COUN-
CIL OF IOWA CITY, IDA:
SECTION I. That the alley right-of-way in Iowe
City, which is the Forth -South alley between
Bloanington and Davenport Streets one block east of
Reno Street, is vacated for alley purposes.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in force and
eff vii published by law.
SECTION III. REPEALER: All ordinances and parts
of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of
this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION IV. SEVERABILITY: If any section,
provision or par o is I inane shall be ad-
judged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
adjudication shall not affect the validity of the
Ordinance as a whole or any section, provision or
part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitu-
tional.
SECTION V. EFFECTIVE BATE: This Ordinance shall
by in effect after its na passage, approval and
publication as required by law.

AN ORDINANCE M MING THE ZONING ORDINANCE BY OIANG-
ING 11E USE REGUATIONS OF CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED
AT 528 IDA AVEN E FROM K-20 TO CB -2.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COLKIL OF THE CITY OF
IOWA CITY, IDWA:
SECTION I. ZONING NUDENT. That the property
described below is he y reclassified from its
present classification of RNC -20 to CB -2;
The West 1/2 of the South 104 feet of Lot
8, and the West 10 feet of the North 46
feet of Lot 8, all in Block 39, in Iowa
City, Iowa, according to the recorded plat
thereof.
SECTION II. ZONING RAP. The Building Inspector is
hereby authorized directed to change the zoning
map of the City of Iowa City, Iowa, to conform to
this arendrwnt upon the final passage, approval and
publication of this ordinance as provided by law.
SECTION III. CERTIFICATION AND RECORDING. The City
CTRFR is authortz direr to certify a
copy of this Ordinance which shall be recorded at
the Office of the County Recorder of Johnson County,
Iowa, upon final passage and publication as provided
by law.
SECTION IV. REPEALER. All Ordinances and parts of
Ordinances in with the provisions of this
Ordinance area hereby repealed.
SECTION V. SEVERABILITY. If any section, provision
or part of this urdiTgim shall be adjudged to be
invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall
not affect the validity of the Ordinance as a whole,
or any section, provision or part thereof not ad-
judged invalid or unconstitutional.

publication as required by law.
