IOWA CITY, IOWA 52240 (319)356-500D NOTICE THE CITY COUNCIL OF IOWA CITY IS CONSIDERING AN APPOINTMENT TO THE FOLLOWING COMMISSION: RIVERFRONT COMMISSION One vacancy for a - Unexpired term representative of the University of Iowa May 20, 1986 - December 1, 1988 It is the duty of members of the Riverfront Com- mission to investigate, study, review and analyze the riverfront needs and to meet such needs within the City of Iowa City; to investigate and deter- mine what rules and regulations are needed and what policy should be established relative to the riverfront in Iowa City; to study, investigate and make recommendations relating to clearing, planning and construction of riverbank areas and for provid- ing green areas and flood plains along the river - front. Iowa City appointed members of boards and commis- sions must be qualified voters of the City of Iowa City. This appointment will be made at the May 20, 1986, meeting of the City Council at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers.
