Each citizen has a right to attend this hearing, to provide written and oral comments and ask questions regarding the entire budget and relationship of revenue sharing to the entire budget. The City Manager held a General Revenue Sharing Public Hearing on December 5, 1978. Based on that meeting and the recommendations of the staff, the following proposals for the use of General Revenue Sharing monies for fiscal year 1980 were made to the Council in the FY80 proposed budget: Aid to Agencies $181,250 General Fund Capital Outlay 146,210 Mass Transportation 359,440 Senior Center 45,560 Civic Center Heating & Air 81,165 Rocky Shore Bikeway 25,000 Mercer Park Restrooms 35,000 New Southwest Park 40,000 $913,625 The proposed FY80 budget is on file at the City Clerk's office and the Public Library for inspection.
