REZONING OF PROPERTY BETWEEN RUNWAYS 30
AND 35 FROM P TO AN OVERLAY ZONE OF CI -1.
Notice is hereby given that a public
hearing will be held by the City Council
of Iowa City, Iowa, at 7:30 p.m. on the
6th day of November, 1984, in the Council
Chambers in the Civic Center, Iowa City,
Iowa; at which hearing the Council will
consider an ordinance to rezone property
between Runways 30 and 35 from P (public)
to an overlay zone of CI -1 (intensive
commercial). This notice is given
pursuant to Chapter 414 of the Code of
Iowa, 1984.

Iowa; at which hearing the Council will
consider an ordinance to rezone 6.3 acres
south of Highway 1 West and north of the
Iowa City Airport from I-1 to CI -1. This
notice is given pursuant to Chapter 414 of

consider a resolution to dispose of a
portion of an alley in Block 15, County
Seat Addition south of the CRI&P Railway
Company right-of-way and north of

TO CONSIDER A PROPOSED INCREASE OF FORTY
CENTS PER MONTH IN THE BASIC SERVICES RATE
FOR CABLE TELEVISION SERVICE.
Notice is hereby given that the City
Council of Iowa City will conduct aPublic
hearing on November 6, 1984, at 7:30 p.m.
at the Civic Center, 410 E. Washington
Street, Iowa City, Iowa, wherein the
public and Heritage Cablevision, Inc.
shall have the opportunity to be heard
regarding the latter's requested rate
increase of forty (40) cents per month for
basic service rate for cable television
service and the recommendation by the
Broadband Telecommunications Commission
that said forty (40) cents per month
increase be approved subject to the terns
of the previously negotiated agreement \
between the City and the grantee for
j. approval of transfer of the franchise.

writing on the proposed rate increase by
submitting such written responses or
comments to the City Clerk at the above

The City of Iowa City herewith provides
notice of a public hearing to be held by
the City Council on Tuesday, November 6,
1984 at 7:30 p.m., Civic Center Council
Chambers, 410 E. Washington Street, Iowa
City, Iowa 52240, to receive citizen
comments on the City's draft program
statement of community development
objectives and proposed use of $736,000 in
Community Development Block Grant funds.
Persons interested in expressing their
views concerning said Program Statement,
either verbally or in writing, will be
given the opportunity to be heard at the
above-mentioned time and place. A list of
the Committee on Community Needs recommen-
dations may be viewed by the public during
business hours at the following locations.
