HomeMy WebLinkAbout1983-03-08 Resolution//7cGaGc; RESOLUTION NO. 83-52 ^ / RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AMENDED PRELIMINARY PLAT AND FINAL PLAT, AND PRELIMINARY AND FINAL LARGE SCALE RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN OF WALDEN RIDGE, PARTS 1, 2, 3 AND 4, IOWA CITY, JOHNSON COUNTY, IOWA. WHEREAS, the owner, Braverman Development, Inc., has filed with the City Clerk of Iowa City, Iowa, an application for approval of the amended preliminary plat and final plat and preliminary and final large scale residential development plan of Walden Ridge, Parts 1, 2, 3 and 4 located in the northwest quadrant of the intersection of the proposed Walden Road and Mormon Trek Boulevard; and WHEREAS, the Department of Planning & Program Development and the Public Works Department have examined the proposed amended preliminary plat and final plat and preliminary and final LSRD plan and have recommended approval of same; and WHEREAS, the plat/plan has been examined by the Planning & Zoning Commission and after due deliberation the Commission has recommended that it be accepted and approved; and WHEREAS, the plat/plan is found to conform with all of the requirements of the City ordinances of the City of Iowa City, Iowa. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IOWA CITY, IOWA: 1. That the amended preliminary plat and final plat, and preliminary and final LSRD plan are hereby approved. 2. That the City Clerk of the City of Iowa City, is hereby authorized and directed to certify a copy of this resolution to the office of the County Recorder of Johnson County, Iowa, after passage and approval as authorized by law.
