HomeMy WebLinkAbout1983-07-05 OrdinanceORDINANCE NO. 83-3127 ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE BY CHANGING THE USE REGULATIONS OF CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED AT 510 SOUTH CLINTON STREET. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IOWA CITY, IOWA: SECTION I. That the property described below is hereby reclassified from its present classification of R38 to CBS, and the boundaries of the CBS zone as indicated upon the zoning map of the City of Iowa City, Iowa, shall be enlarged to include the property located at 510 South Clinton Street and legally described as follows: All of Lot 7 and the north 60 feet of Lot 6 all in Block 8 in that part of Iowa City, Iowa, laid off by the Commissi, oners of Johnson County, Iowa, as the County Seat of Johnson County, according to thereof. the recorded plat SECTION_I, The Building Inspector is hereby authortzed and directed to change the zoning map of the City of Iowa City, Iowa, to conform to this amendment upon the final passage, Publication of this ordinance as iapproval and provded by law. SECTION The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to certify a copy of this ordinance to the County Recorder of Johnson County, Iowa, upon final passage and publication as provided by law. SECTION IV. REPEALER. All ordinances and parts of ordinances to conflict with the provision of this ordinance are hereby repealed. SECTION V. SEVERABILITY. If any section, provision or part of the Ordinance shall be adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such ajudication shall not affect the validity of the Ordinance as a whole or any section, part thereof not adjudged provision or invalid or unconstitutional. SECTION VI. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall be in effect after its final passage, approval and Publication as required by law.
