OCTOBER 4, 1982
. Iowa City Council, special meeting of October 4, 1982, 4:30 P.M. in
the Conference Room at the Civic Center. Mayor Neuhauser presiding.
Councilmembers present: Balmer, Dickson, Lynch, Neuhauser, McDonald -
4:34 PM. Absent: Perret, Erdahl. Staffinembers present: Berlin,
Stolfus, Jansen, Helling, Seydel. The Waiver of Call of Special meeting
was signed by all Councilmembers. Tape-recorded on Reel N82-20, Side 2,
275-305.
Public Hearing was held on the sale of Shamrock Place to Frantz
Construction Co., Inc., for the purpose of developing Public Housing 14,93
Project IA 22-4. There was no one present to speak for or against the
project.
Councilman McDonald arrived 4:34 P.M.
Moved by Balmer, seconded by Dickson, to adopt RES. 82-248, Bk. 74,
p. 940, AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY OF I011A 4
CITY TO FRANTZ CONSTRUCTION CO., INC., FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEVELOPING
PUBLIC HOUSING PROJECT IA 22-4. Affirmative roll call vote unanimous,
5/0, Erdahl and Perret absent. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
Moved by Balmer, seconded by Lynch, to adjourn the informal meeting,
4:35 P.M. The Mayor declared the motion carried, 5/0, Erdahl and Perret
absent.
