Bailey/ Okay, we had scheduled a work session to talk about the process, but I think that
we don't (unable to hear) process. So...
Champion/ Can we each ask our own questions at the second interview?
Bailey/ Yes.
Champion/ And we don't have to ask the, like two candidates...
Karr/ I guess we are having a work session.
Beezat/ No, I would just...I think it would be a good idea for you to maybe write your
questions out, just to share them with the rest of the Council, and we can do that
the day, you know, the morning we get together to do the second interview, but I
think it would be a good idea to...to get some of them down.
Bailey/ So if we could take a half hour as we did before to sort of meet, talk about
questions, have those in advance -that would probably be helpful. Any other
things that would be helpful in that second interview process?
Karr/ Do we want to decide at all tentatively time? Just so you reserve it, so people
aren't calling me wondering about their Saturday plans.
Bailey/ I reserved the whole day, so...
Karr/ We can keep the day, and get back to you. I just wanted to find out if there was
any...
Champion/ I think it'd be nice if it wasn't so early in the morning (unable to hear) fairly
close. There's not a direct flight (several talking)
Bailey/ I think probably we should just talk about our general time, and we have it
scheduled for March 1St. (several talking) Ten? Is ten good? (several talking)
How long do we expect to spend with each candidate? An hour and a half?

Beezat/ I would say about an hour and a half, you know, maybe if you had a little break
in there between them and had a sandwich...
Wright/ Why don't we say 10 to 12, and...
Bailey/ Can we start a little bit earlier?
Hayek/ Let's go 9 to 11:30, and...12:30 to 2.
Bailey/ That's good. I concur.
O'Donnell/ I'm thinking that 9:00, well, that's fine.
Hayek/ It gives us an hour to clear our heads, get a bite to eat, and come back for the
second one. (several talking)
Bailey/ Any other details about this? And then we'll just go from there. Well, and then
we'll have the interview and then we'll discuss immediately following? Is that
the intent? (several responding) So, it's 9:30 to, it could be much more than 2.
So...if we do 12:30 to 2 for the interview.
Wright/ Candidates will be done by 2. We won't. (several talking)
Bailey/ I think 9 to 4 is probably a safe bet.
Champion/ I was just thinking that maybe we should start earlier, because if it gets later
in the day (unable to hear)
Bailey/ Did you want to start at 8:30? I know (several talking). 9? Okay, 9 to 4. Okay.
Anything else? Anything else...really! Okay, thank you.
