BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
IOWA CITY, IOWA:
SECTION I. That the property described below
(Parcel A on the attached map) is hereby
reclassified from its present classification of RlA
to R3, to -wit:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of
Section 18, Township 79 North, Range 5
West of the 5th Principal Meridian;

the point of beginning; thence North

SECTION IV. The City Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to certify a copy of this ordinance to
the County Recorder of Johnson County, Iowa, upon
final passage and publication as provided by law.
SECTION V. REPEALER. All ordinances and parts of
ordinances in conflict with the provision of this
ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION VI. SEVERABILITY. If any section,
provision or part of the Ordinance shall be
adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
ajudication shall not affect the validity of the
Ordinance as a whole or any section, provision or
part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconsti-
tutional.
SECTION VII. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance
shall be in effect after its final passage,
approval and publication as required by law.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE BY
CHANGING THE USE REGULATIONS OF CERTAIN PROPERTY
FROM R1A TO R3 ZONE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
IOWA CITY, IOWA:
SECTION 1. That the property described below is
hereby reclassified from its present classification
from R1A to R3; to -wit:
Commencing at the northeast corner of the
southwest quarter of the northeast quarter of
Section 17, Township 79 North, Range 6 West of
the 5th P.M. thence south 800.49 feet, thence
west 287.7 feet to the point of beginning;
thence south 522.74 feet, to the south line of
said southwest quarter of the northeast
quarter, thence north 88°51' West 335.55 feet,
thence north 516.01 feet, thence east 335.48
feet to the point of beginning; subject to an
easement for road purposes over the north 25
feet thereof.
As requested by University Baptist Church.
SECTION 2. The building inspector is hereby

ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE
CHAPTER 8.10. OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
BY REPEALING SECTION 8.10.4D.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
IOWA CITY, IOWA.
SECTION I. PURPOSE. The purpose of this ordinance
is to amend the Zoning Ordinance by repealing
Section 8.10.4D. which established a building
moratorium in the Northside Area to allow
sufficient time to complete the Comprehensive Plan.
SECTION II.AMENDMENT. The Zoning Ordinance is
hereby amen e y e eting Section 8.10.4D.
SECTION III. REPEALER. All ordinances and parts
of ordinances in conflict with the provision of
this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION IV. SEVERABILITY. If any section, provi-
sion or part of t e r finance shall be adjudged to
