To hear and decide appeals where it is alleged there is an error in any order, requirement, decision, or determination made by an administrative official in the enforcement of the Airport Zoning Chapter. 2. To hear and decide special exceptions to the terms of the Airport Zoning Chapter upon which such board is required to pass under the Airport Zoning Chapter. 3. To authorize upon appeal in specific cases such variance from the terms of the Airport Zoning Chapter as will not be contrary to the public interest, where owing to special conditions a literal enforcement of the provisions of the Airport Zoning Chapter will result in unnecessary hardship, and so that the spirit of the Airport Zoning Chapter shall be observed and substantial justice done. I have a background in education and have put this training" to use in various capacities, which has afforded me the '~,opportunityfo work with people of a wide variety of ages, ethnicities, levels of ~,d,~uration, settings/locales, socio-economic levels, careers, and interests. I am intimately acquainted with ~~st amount of protocol law enforcement is tasked with carrying out, and I want to ensure both they and the public can count on officers receiving adequateoa~nd appropriate examination, and, should an incident warrant it, officers receiving discipline, reduction in rank and1pay, or discharge. I was a friend of Eric Shaw, and I am a friend of Shawntae Ramsey. I was in Texas when Eric was shot so was not a witness to that incident; however, I was next door and overheard part of the dialogue between Shawntae and the officer (both of whom were neighbors at the time) immediately before he is alleged.to have assaulted her. I provided Shawntae with information about the PCRB, and I provided my recollection of events to I.A. when they requested it. While I have not had any direct dealings with the planning & zoning commission, I am familiar with the function it serves. In researching the open seat I have read both the agendas and minutes of recent meetings. A business eject our company undertook in 2003 required specific use of the old zoning code to ensure that we were in ~.,,,mpliance.
