Notice is hereby given that the Iowa City City
Council will hold a public hearing concerning a
proposed amendment to the Iowa City Comprehensive
Plan for Land Use, Trafficways, and Community
Facilities at the following time and place:
Tuesday -- February 19, 1980
City Council Chambers
Civic Center, 410 E. Washington St.
Iowa City, Iowa 52240
The proposed Comprehensive Plan amendment is to
delete Foster Road, in whole or in part, as an
arterial street, from the Comprehensive Plan Map.
Persons interested in expressing their views
concerning said proposed amendment, either verbally
or in writing, will be given the opportunity to be
heard at the above time and place.
Copies of the existing Comprehensive Plan Map are
available in the Iowa City Department of Planning
and Program Development, which is located on the
second floor of the Davis Building, 332 E.
Washington Street, Iowa City.

IN THE CITY OF IOWA CITY, IOWA
TO ALL TAXPAYERS OF THE CITY OF IOWA CITY, IOWA,
AND TO OTHER PERSONS INTERESTED:
Public notice is hereby given that the City Council
of the City of Iowa City, Iowa, will conduct a
Public hearing on plans, specifications, form of
contract and estimated Cost for the construction
Of the CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT STREETSCAPE IM-
PROVEPIENT PROJECT PHASE II -B in said City at 30
o'clock P.M. , on the 79th day of Eehruary 7
1980, said meeting to be held in the Council -
Chambers in the Civic Center in said City.
Said plans, specifications, form of contract and
estimated cost are now on file in the office of
the Clerk in the Civic Center in Iowa City, Iowa,
and may be inspected by any persons interested.
Any persons interested may appear at said meeting
of the City Council for the purpose of making
objections to said plans, specifications or con-
tract or the cost of making said improvement.
This notice given by order of the City Council of
the City of Iowa City, Iowa.
