of the Urban Renewal Contract and possibilities of seeking De-
claratory Judgment due as soon as possible;-no-later than a week

City Manager Berlin reported that Ira Bolnick will not con- .
tinue in a formal capacity as Youth Co-ordinator, but is inter
ested'in working with the Ad Hoc Committee. He also noted it l(/
appears the City will behandling the Mayor's Youth Program p y-
roll-and accounti.n and that for United Action -Youth Program

City Attorney John Hayek reminded Council of his letter dated
12/30/75 regarding the appointment of Angela Ryan as Assistant
City<Attorne £or the Cit of Iowa Cit as recommended by the
Lega Department. Mr. Hayek pointed out that a Resolution had
been passed last September' authorizing the employment, and at /
this time'a motion to 'approve the employment at a salary of (p
$13`,000 'a year would be appropriate It was moved by.Balmer
and seconded by Perret to approve the appointment. Motion.adopted,; .

Attorney Hayek called attention to the discussion on the sta
