The -FY 77 budget provides'$5,000 for the expenses of boards and commissions.
All boards and co:mmissions.have_been contacted concerning,_ their.proposed;;

expenditures. Attached to this memoranduon is information concerning those
requests in the amount of'$7;453.50.
Based upon these requests and the Council's actiom concerning travel ,and ,

educational expenditures,. it would appear appropriate for, the request from
the ihmran Relations'Conmission'to be reduced`to'.$2000 and thesrequest
from the Housing -Commission: to be -reduced'• -to $1';000:. -Total proposed;ex-
penditures'for boards and commissions for -'FY 77-then.would amount.to)
$4,918.50. The Council may,wish to approve this allocation by motion and
