The Iowa City City Council met in regular session on the 24th day Of August, 1976, at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers at the Civic Center. Councilmen present were: Balmer, de- Prosse, Foster, Neuhauser, Selzer, Vevera. Absent: Mayor Neuhauser presiding. Perret. Robi—Witter, from the Committee on Decent Housing, appeared and elaborated on the necessity for low-cost, decent housing in Iowa City.
