NO. 77-2835 BY CHANGING THE MAXIMUM SPEED LIMIT IIPON CERTAIN STREETS IN IOWA CITY, IOWA. a 7 a (Panned and adopted) Comment: The Clty.Traffic Engineer has recommended that the speed limit on a certain section of Gilbert Street south of its intersection with Highway 6 be changed from 45 MPH to 25 MPH and 35 MPH. Thls,chanF,e is being recommended pursuant to a traffic study of the area. The ,. City traffic ordinances direct that any changes in speed restric- tlona be made through ordinances.
