WHEREAS, this year, as in years past, the Iowa City Board of Realtors
joins with more than 600,000 realtors nationwide in observance
of Private Property Week, and
WHEREAS, Private Property Week is observed to reaffirm our right to own
real property and to call attention to our duty to preserve the

land, and
WHEREAS, Private Property Week will be celebrated from April 15 - 21, 1979,
with the theme, "This Land is Your Land" to call attention to the
fact that we must not take our land for granted but must learn to
preserve and protect it,
