After talking to the=Department of Transportation on how the deferral; works and how it affects the 13c Agreement,' he found that the Secretary of Labor's assurance ,was more -broad`than had been anticipated under that agreement, and recommended.that it was vital_to review the Secretary of Labor's letter of assurance and noted that it points up the important aspect that the 13c Agreement must be backed up by strong _lease agreements. He reported that the Coralville City -Council will finalize their lease -agreement after the relationship with the University is clarified. After dis- cussion, it was moved by Brandt and seconded by Neuhauser that the City Manager and Staffanalyze the 'letter from the ntinue the`diacussions with the Secretary of Labor and co University, `and report back to Council.
