RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE CITY COUNCIL.
a. Consider recommendations by the Design Review Committee:
1. For the approval of sodium lighting -on 15':standards, placed
-------at-5O' intervals, 2', candle levels. (Sodium lighting would be
in concealed source.) Additional ljghting sources -with the use
of auxiliary' lighting.
2. For -securing, the services of a design specialist for a design
specialist for a continuous consulting basis.�a
3.: For Coordination between Council, City staff and the Design

Review Committee to ensure that Design Standards are developed,
adhered to and reviewed in total for the overall project.
Examples: Traffic, trash cans, phone booth design and placement,-

Overlay Program. Under this project West Melrose and various:.

The, City of Swisher has requested the use of the Iowa City landfill in

by the City Council in the'.past. The City of Swisher has executed our
standard agreement and this resolutionwould approve the agreement and
authorize its execution.
