Comment: The building code requries fire detectors and the electrical code requires "G.F.I."-type circuit breakers on some circuits in single family dwellings (SFD). These are not normally installed until the finish and :trim work 'is"almost complete. Because contractors do not always call for =a final inspectionm before people move into SFD's there is some question _if' the "detectors and G.F.I.'s are getting installed in -all new homes.
