Z-7506. - OCT. _d I Sr Comment: The _Planning and Zoning Commission on September 25, 1975 recommended by -a 4 to 0 vote approval to rezone the_plum�rove Armes tract of b'a�SBd 2.99 acres to a CO zone. The zoning action has:been mandated to be �rt� accomplished by the City no later -than November 4, 1975; by a district' court decision of July 30, 1975., - Action: I .. br Item No. 7 - RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE CITY COUNCIL. a. Consider recommendations by the Parks and Recreation Commission that the $20,000 Oak Grove Development fund: be held over for use in other city parks. Comment: On August 20, the Parks and Recreation Commission voted to recommend the expenditure of -$14,750 -from Oak Grove ParkDevelopment carryover funds to complete a 4" asphalt -overlay of the old portion of lower city park road. This portion of the road would begin where the new road ends and would continue approximately 1750' ---to a -point north of the `tennis court. — - The Oak Grove money is -from -a--1966 bond issue which is to be spent for acquisiLion and development -of -Parks -and Recreation-.- ecreation:The Theasphalt overlay project was started with $8,250 of carryover, 1974-75 park improvement money, -$5;000 of which was allocated for dust control, on this portion of lower city road. park Action:' Item No. 8 - BUSINESS FROM THE CITY COUNCIL. 4 a. Memo from City Clerk advising of the need for a primary election to be held October 21- 1975. Action: % S' 44, Item No. 10 - CONSIDER ORDINANCE ON CAMPAIGN FINANCE (FIRST CONSIDERATION). Comment: _ An ordinance to require filing with the City Clerk all disclosure reports required to be filed by the Iowa Campaign Disclosure -` Income Tax Check off Actin Election Campaigns for Municipal - Public Office; to place _realistic and enforceable limits on the amount persons may contribute to Election Campaigns for :_Municipal Public Office; to realistic place and enforceable Iimits'on:_.the amount ,that a_candidate, a candidate's committee, ,all - and political committees supporting the candidate may spend in election campaigns for Municipal Public Office; and:to provide for enforcement of all ' the provisions of this ordinance.
