Clinton St. Said approval shall be subject to any conditions or restrictions hereafter imposed by ordinance or state law. The City Clerk shall cause a recommendation for approval to be en- dorsed upon the application and forward -the same together with the license fee, certificate of financial responsibility, surety bond and all other information or documents required to the Iowa Beer & Liquor Control Department. It 7 44 ,- _ WHEREAS, the City of Iowa City, Iowa, acting as Local Public Agency, has entered into a contract for loan and grant with the United States of America for the implementation of an Urban Renewal Project known as Project No. Iowa R-14, and, WHEREAS, the City Council of Iowa City, Iowa, has received a redevelopment proposal from Old Capitol Business Center Company dated October 18, 1973, and, WHEREAS, Old'' Capitol Business Center Company in a letter dated December 17, '1973,: has requested permission from the City Council of Iowa City to transfer, the redevelopment proposal to a joint venture between Old Capitol Business Center Company and Meadow Link, Incorporated, under the name of 'Old Capitol Associates" . NOW THEREFORE BENT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF IOWA CIZ Y, IOWA, acting as. Local Public Agency, that permission be and the same is hereby. granted to Old Capitol Business Center Company to transfer their redevelopment proposal to Old Capitol Associates, a joint venture consisting of Old Capitol, Business Center Company and Meadow Link, Incorporated This permission is granted following filing of the necessary disclosure statements by Old Capitol Associates. I WHEREAS, the City Council of Iowa City, Iowa, is cognizant of the need for:broad citizen representation on the various boards and commissions of the City of Iowa City, and, WHEREAS, the Rules Committee of the City Council has recommended that advance notice of vacancies on boards and, commissions be given to the public, and, WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish procedures implementing this recommendation, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF IOWA CITY, IOWA, that to the greatest extent practical at least thirty days advanced notice of the existence of a vacancy on a. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Iowa City, Iowa authorized negotiation for sale of park land on McBride Addition Part One on December 11, 1973. WHEREAS, there has been an offer to exchange said property for similar property across the street plus the sum of $2,000.00_payable to the City of Iowa City, Iowa. WHEREAS, the property owned by the City of Iowa City has been appraised at $17,000.00. WHEREAS, the property the City of Iowa City would be receiving has been appraised at $15,000.00. WHEREAS, Parks and Recreation,_ Planning and Zoning, and the Staff recommend approval of the exchanged.
