RESOLUTION OF NECESSITY

WHEREAS, plans, specifications and form of contract and an estimate of
the total cost of the following public improvement, the Civic Center Parking
Facility Project,
The proposed construction will consist of the reconstruction
of the parking area north and east of the Civic Center including
Portland Cement curb and gutter, asphaltic concrete surface,
sidewalk, lighting and other incidental facilities.
are now on file in the Office of the City Clerk, and
WHEREAS, notice of this Resolution of Necessity was duly published as
required by law, and
WHEREAS, the following objections have been filed to said Resolution o,-

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT
FOR EXTRA WIDTH PAVING
WHEREAS, the City of Iowa City, Iowa, has negotiated a contract with
Bryn Mawr Part V, VI, VII , a copy of said contract being attached
to this Resolution and by this reference made a part hereof, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it in the public interest to enter
into said contract, Fot Extra Width Paving.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL.
1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to execute the Agreement with Bryn Mawr Part V VI VII
2. That the City Clerk shall furnish copies of said Agreement to any
citizen requesting same.
