NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL. 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the Agreement with Bryn Mawr Part V VI VII 2. Plum Grove Acres, Inc. is the Developer of the Court Hill -Scott Boulevard subdivision, an Addition to the City of Iowa City, Iowa, according to the recorded Plat thereof, and E"HEREAS, the City Council and the Planning & Zoning Commission of Iowa City, Iota, have required, as a condition of the approval of said subdivision, that the Developer shall improve Washington Street by paving said street thirty-six(36) feet wide, back-to-back of the curb, and WHEREAS, The City of Iowa City has agreed to reimburse the Developer for the cost of said improvement which is in excess of -)8 feet in width and said cost has been determined to be less than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00), and that no bids are required, pursuant to Chapter 23 of the Code of Iowa, and the City of Iowa City has determined that the cost of Two thousand six hundred thirty two and 74/100 dollars (319.12 sq. yds. @ $8.25/yd ($ 2,632.74 ) is a fair and reasonable price for the cost of the additional pavement required.
