NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Iowa City, Iowa: 1. That it is deemed advisable and necessary to construct Pollution Control Plant Paving Project #1 within the City of Iowa City, Iowa, to -wit: ALTERNATE A: The construction of 6" thick full -depth asphaltic con- crete pavement with 6" X 30" P.C.C. curb and gutter together with necessary grading and removal of existing roadway and other incidental construction related thereto ALTERNATE B: The construction of 6" thick P.C.C. pavement with integral curb together with necessary grading, removal of existing roadway and other incidental construction related thereto 2. The method of construction shall be by contract. 3. The entire cost of the improvement shall be paid from the General Funds of the City of Iowa City.and shall not be assessed against benefited property. 4. That the City Council shall meet at 7:30 o'clock P.M., on the 27th day of August 19 74 in theouncil Chambers of the Civic Center for the purpose of hearing objections to said improvement or the cost thereof. 5. Complete the Contract in accordance with its terms and conditions, or 2.
