This agreement shall take.effect upon being signed by all the participating governmental, units. This agreement shall remain in effect from -.ear to year unless one of the parties gives written notice to the other parties of termination of participation by that agency, in which case said notifying agency shall be d -e -lea -t -ed from further operation of ,this agreement. The parties to thi's agreement shall each designate at least one and not more than two duly authorized members to a civil defense mutual aid board as contemplated by this agreement. Said designation shall be apart of.this agreement and shall change from time to time as deemed appropriate by the parties upon written notice to all other parties to the agreement.: Joint meetings shall be held at least annually, as called by the director of the Johnson County Civil Defense Agency, for the purpose of planning for the pooling of resources, equipment and effort.
