Moore: At its November 27, 1973 regular, meeting the Iowa City city 'council received a report concerning a problem situation which you brought to the attention of the City Council at its previoussession. As you indicated,` tickets are often issued when a car is parked in a drive- way between the sidewalk and the curb and obstructing the public right-of-way for the purpose of loading or un- loading disabled passengers. A possible solution which was presented to the Council, would be to have an ordinance making special provisions for loading and unloading" disabled passengers. The City at this time is looking into this possibility and will advise you as to its status in the future. Thank you for bringing this matter to the attention of the City Council. 1'- RSW:ale 1 very truly yours, Ray S.
