Home My WebLink About2021-06-15 Public hearingJUN 01 2021 City Clerk Iowa City, Iowa NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROJECT MANUAL AND ESTIMATED COST FOR THE NEVADA AVENUE SANITARY SEWER REPLACEMENT PROJECT IN THE CITY OF IOWA CITY, IOWA TO ALL TAXPAYERS OF THE CITY OF IOWA CITY, IOWA, AND TO OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS: Public notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Iowa City, Iowa, will conduct a public hearing on the Project Manual, including the plans, specifications, contract, and estimated cost for the construction of the Nevada Avenue Sanitary Sewer Replacement in said city at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th day of June, 2021, said meeting to be held in the Emma J. Harvat Hall in the City Hall, 410 East Washington Street in said city, or if said meeting is cancelled, at the next meeting of the City Council thereafter as posted by the City Clerk. If City Hall is closed to the public due to the health and safety concerns from COVID-19, the council meeting will be an electronic meeting using the Zoom Meetings. For information on how to participate in the electronic meeting, see www.icgov.orq/councildocs or telephone the City Clerk at (319) 356-5043. This project includes approximately 960 linear feet of sanitary sewer replacement, sanitary sewer manholes, sanitary sewer service reconnection, sanitary sewer abandonment, and seeding/sodding along the back yards of the homes along Nevada Avenue and Regal Lane from Lakeside Drive, to Whispering Meadow Drive along with street pavement, driveway and sidewalk along Lakeside Drive. Said Project Manual and estimated cost are now on file in the office of the City Clerk in the City Hall in Iowa City, Iowa, and may be inspected by any interested persons. If City Hall is closed to the public due to the health and safety concerns from COVID-19, copies are available by telephoning the City Clerk at (319) 356- 5043 or emailing kellie-fruehlinq@iowa-city.orq.
