NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROJECT MANUAL AND ESTIMATED COST FOR THE CHADEK GREEN, WHISPERING MEADOWS, AND COURT HILL PARKS IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT IN THE CITY OF IOWA CITY, IOWA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO ALL TAXPAYERS OF THE CITY OF IOWA CITY, IOWA, AND TO OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS: Public notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Iowa City, Iowa, will conduct a public hearing on the Project Manual, including the plans, specifications, contract, and estimated cost for the construction of the Chadek Green, Whispering Meadows, And Court Hill Parks Improvements Project in said city at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th day of February, 2022, said meeting to be held in the Assembly Room at The Center, 28 S. Linn Street in said city, or if said meeting is cancelled, at the next meeting of the City Council thereafter as posted by the City Clerk. If City Council does not meet in person due to the health and safety concerns from COVID-19, the council meeting will be an electronic meeting using the Zoom Meetings. For information on how to participate in the electronic meeting, see www.icgov.orq!councildocs or telephone the City Clerk at (319) 356-5043. This project includes demolition of existing features, and proposed improvements of grading, sanitary sewer, water service, electric service, restroom, shelter, play equipment installation, sidewalk, seeding, and associated work and is located at Chadek Green Park, 1920 Friendship Street. Whispering Meadows Park, 2600 block of Indigo Court, and Court Hill Park, 2825 Friendship Street; all in Iowa City, Iowa. Said Project Manual and estimated cost are now on file in the office of the City Clerk in the City Hall in Iowa City, Iowa, and may be inspected by any interested persons. If City Hall is closed to the public due to the health and safety concerns from COVID-19, copies are available by telephoning the City Clerk at (319) 356-5043 or emailing kellie-fruehlinqaiowa-city.orq.
