Comment:This Resolution will approve the procurement of one(1)new paint striping truck to be used by the Streets Division. Sourcewell Cooperative contract 080521-EZL will be utilized for the procurement of paint striping truck at $196,540.08, which exceeds the$150.000.00 spending authority of the City Manager, and so requires Council approval. 6. Zoning Code Amendment-Various Historic Preservation Code Changes Motion setting a public hearing for July 12 to consider an ordinance amending Title 14, Zoning of the Iowa City Code to clarify code language related to historic preservation. (RF722-0009) Comment At its June 15 meeting,the Planning and Zoning Commission approved the proposed zoning code text amendment RF722-0009.The proposed amendment would clarify language and update certain procedures related to historic preservation.The Historic Preservation Commission recommended approval at its meeting on June 9.The State Historic Preservation Office completed a review as well and noted no concerns with the changes. 7. Property Clean Up Assessments _ - 110 Resolution adopting an assessment schedule of court ordered nuisance abatement charges and directing the Clerk to certify the same to the Johnson County Treasurer for collection in the same manner as property taxes. Comment:In the 3 proposed assessments,the Court authorized the City to abate nuisances and authorized the costs to be assessed in the same manner as property taxes.The City did abate the nuisances and this resolution will assess the properties for the costs the City paid a contractor.
