COMPLETE COUNCIL DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES
MARCH 19, 2003
Iowa City City Council Special meeting, 4:00 p.m. at the Civic Center. Mayor
Lehman presiding. Council Members present: Champion, Lehman, O'Donnell, Pfab,
Vanderhoef, Wilburn. Absent: Kanner. Staff members present: Atkins, Nasby, Holecek,
Karr, Franklin. Council minutes tape recorded on Tape 03-25, Side 2.
Moved by Pfab, seconded by O'Donnell, to adopt RES. 03-89, APPROVING
AND AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT FOR PRIVATE REDEVELOPMENT BY AND
BETWEEN THE CITY OF IOWA CITY AND ALPLA OF IOWA, INC. Economic
Development Coordinator Nasby present for discussion. Affirmative roll call vote
unanimous, 6/0, Kanner absent. The Mayor declared the resolution adopted.
Moved by O'Donnell, seconded by Vanderhoef, to adjourn the special meeting at
